12 elephants in Intl' elephant race semi final

CHITWAN: Twelve elephants are holding competition this afternoon for the semi final of International Elephants Race Tournament being held at Sauraha of Chitwan.

Six elephants will be selected from the semi final match on Tuesday.

The final event is set for tomorrow. Altogether 20 teams including 10 from abroad countries took part in the competition, informed coordinator of event organising main committee, Narayan Bhattarai.

In an interesting football match held among the calves of elephant, Crist Bank has won the title by defeating Rotary Club Chitwan with 4-1.
