Cold waves take toll on life

RAUTAHAT: Life in Rautahat district is getting tougher due to cold wave followed by dipping temperature. At least eight people have lost their lives in Rautahat this year due to chilling cold.

With the mercury level going down, the Armed Base Camp, Pokharbinda has made arrangement for fire to beat the cold.

The Gaur municipality has not heeded the public demand to make necessary arrangement for fire despite repeated requests, locals complained.
