Lindsay Lohan emulates Christine Keeler in Playboy shoot

LONDON: A first look at Lindsay Lohan's naked Playboy shoot after the cover of the magazine was leaked shows the actress in a pose echoing the famous Christine Keeler protrait by photographer Lewis Morley, reported British daily The Sun on Friday.
No stranger to scandal herself, LiLo hid her assets behind a Playboy bunny chair in a nod to the pose struck by Keeler — notorious for her role in the Profumo affair.
The front page of the glossy was leaked a week before she was set to reveal it on Ellen DeGeneres's US chat show.
It shows a tastefully shot Lindsay with bright red lipstick and long curly hair. But the pictures inside promised a lot more flesh and a tribute to movie star Marilyn Monroe.
Mag owner Hugh Hefner commented: "It's a classic tribute, inspired by the original Tom Kelley nude pictorial of Marilyn Monroe. Classy, very classy."
Lindsay was reportedly paid $1million for the deal, and Hugh had the cover reshot because he was unhappy with the original.
This is not the first time 25-year-old Lindsay modelled herself on screen legend Marilyn. She adopted a similar look for a series of photos in New York magazine last year.
The Christine Keeler portrait was created at the height of the Profumo affair, which threatened to topple MacMillan's government in 1963.
And it became the subject of hit movie Scandal, starring Joanne Whalley as Christine.
Meanwhile, Lindsay's diaries are causing a stir in the US.
The private journals, published in Star Magazine, reveal that she was in love with tragic star Heath Ledger.
The Mean Girls actress reportedly wrote: "Today Heath died. I'm in love with him. He was the love of my life.
"He taught me so much, and he was everything I've ever wanted and more. I want to hear him laugh and hold me. I crave his touch and care."
