LeAnn Rimes displays skinny appeal in Mexico

LONDON: For most people the week before Christmas means dashing round for last-minute gifts.

But for LeAnn Rimes it was a case of sun, sea and looking very skinny indeed as she relaxed with hubby Eddie Cibrian in Mexico, reported the Daily Mail on Monday.

The singer tweeted a picture of herself wearing a brown bikini, the bottoms of which swamped her tiny lower body.

The 29-year-old's shrinking frame has been much discussed by fans some of whom have raised concerns for her health.

Earlier this year Rimes was approached in a Chicago restaurant by a diner who bluntly told her: 'You need to eat something.'

Furiously the star took to Twitter in rebuttal, posting: ‘How dare someone come to me at a table w/ the boys and tell me I need to eat something.'

She has often taken to Twitter to document what she has eaten since the incident.

Sunday was no exception with Rimes tweeting from fully-stocked beach bar.

'My man's heaven.....football & a FULL tequila bar!....sushi too,' she wrote.

Rimes and Cibrian, who married in April, jetted out for their romantic getaway from LAX Sunday.

It seems Rimes may have had some trouble on the plane after tweeting: 'So happy my hubby speaks Spanish cause they didn't have English customs forms on the plane. There are some VERY confused people.'

And before the pair's trip, the country singer revealed she had been stocking up on swimwear.

'Take out day & I'm in charge, but not before a little Diane's Beachwear shopping for a hat. :) #getmeonaplanenow,' she wrote.

But after they landed the singer could relax properly but still made sure to tweet updates with pictures of her and Cibrian looking suitably loved up.
